Read my blog - I work pretty hard on keeping it updated with the latest in franchise news. I learn every week about new franchises; some are great. Some are not. The blog can be a great idea source from my franchise introduction notes.
Buy this book - There are a lot of franchise books available. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of most of them. But this one is good. It will help you think through the process. It's affordable and worth your time.
Take the quiz - There are lots of 'are you ready to own a business' types of quizzes available. You should take them and evaluate the results. I developed my own quiz. I'm not a psychologist...but I am a business owner and past franchisee, and I work with lots of prospective franchisees. I think I've got a decent handle on what works and what doesn't. I hope my quiz will help you see and evaluate your potential as a franchisee.
